Lost & Found

The broken bones
And scenes of gore,
The rolls, the tumbles and the falls,
The bloody bandages I wore
From banging my head against brick walls.

Yet, stone is stone
And will remain;
All assault soon proves vain,
For it stands unconquerable and stolid
Despite how long you beat against it.

So then, if I can't go through,
I'll have to get over it.
And if I can't get over
Because I'm too far under,
I'll find a way around.
Though lost I may be for the moment,
Any day now, I know I'll be found.
